Everyone should have received their updated Medicare and You 2026 booklet, look for an updated BCBSM/MA Annual Notice of Change for 2026 and OPTUM RX Annual of Change for 2026. These are helpful guides even though there is no changes to our coverages apart from the enhancements to our vision care.
BBCBSM will be sending NEW BCBSM/MA cards to everyone in November and December. These new cards will be effective JANUARY 1, 2026, and will have NEW NUMBERS so you will have to show this new card to all the medical providers, hospitals, lab facilities you use. They need to update your records and for billing going forward. Please DO NOT DESTROY YOUR OLD CARD until everything is accurately transferred to the updated card.
