The Coordinating Council has determined that the rest of the Executive Board Meetings for 2021 will be done by conference call. The Board meeting dates remaining are at 10:00 am: Fridays June 4, September 3 and October 1. The numbers to call are:1-602-580-9409 Access Code 497894# We have 2 Coordinating Council meetings scheduled for Friday August 6 and Friday November 5 at 9:00 am. Those meetings will be held at the Hidden Gem in Holt (same place).
Sadly, SERA lost Syl Tomaszewski on May 4, 2021(Husband) of former Treasurer Maria Tomaszewski. Syl also attended every meeting Maria did. Syl always had a smile for everyone he met. If he had something to say, you listened. If you want to send a card to Maria the address is:

SERA will no longer be getting new retiree lists from ORS. The AG’s office and FOIA Attorneys determined we will no longer receive lists with contact information. We have to request lists through FOIA and if necessary, pay for the lists. I requested the lists from September and October of 2020 and was charged $305. Majority of that amount was to set up the program.
The information we received was: First and Last names, first 2 numbers of zip code and date of retirement. I will send copies of the lists to all Chapter members. We are still looking into ways that we could get the entire list — may take some time.
