I have received many calls regarding the third-tier co-pay ($30) on prescription drugs. We are hearing that many retirees have been notified that they have third-tier drugs. In response to all the complaints I am hearing, I have sent a letter to Mr. David Fink (OSE) to discuss this issue as well as others. I would expect that the meeting would be held after the holidays. In the meantime if you become aware that you have a $30 co-pay on your drugs please call me at 1-810-240-8380. I want to have as many examples as possible for this meeting.
I have established a committee to look into the dues structure and Chapter representation on the Coordinating Council. This committee will meet after the Executive Committee meeting in January.
The web-site committee met and determined that we should continue the web-site. Therefore, we are seeking a retiree(s) that may be interested in maintaining the web-site. If you know someone who may be interested call me or Alvin Whitfield ( 517-703-9666) and we can answer questions and give information on what would be expected.
